Profile: Dr Anna Hunt
I grew up in Bristol and now live in north London.
In between I sp ent seven years living and
studying in Exeter, gaining a BA in English literature, an MA in literary criticism and theory and a PhD in contemporary women's writing. A keen eye for detail, passionate pedantry for properly presented text and a love of the written word led me to editorial work, and I now work predominantly as a freelance copy-editor and proofreader. Alongside this I do freelance academic research as well as my own research and writing: I am a published academic author - one of my recent contributions can be seen here. Currently I am training to be an indexer, a service I hope soon to o ffer through this site.
I am an Associate of the Society for Editors & Proofreaders (SfEP) and you can also find me listed at Freelancers in the UK, Projects & People and www.copyediting.co.uk.
